A Soldier (1881) by Gustave Caillebotte 

Gustave Caillebotte was a French painter born in 1848. Though an Impressionist, he painted in a more realistic manner than other artists in that group. He painted A Soldier with his distinctive red-and-blue uniform in 1881. Caillebotte died in 1894 at the age of 45.
